Why Do I need it?­
This is the latest version of the Samba motherboard BIOS for h
Pavilon computers.

How do I get it?­
Download SMBA_­306.exe from this page.

What do I do with it?­
This install will need to be done in two stages:

• creation of a boot floppy
• installation of the BIOS update

1. Click Start, then M
   Computer.
2. Right-click the floppy disk drive (A:), then clic
   format.
3. In the format window, select the create an MS-Do
   startup disk option.
4. Click Start, then OK. Whe
   the Format Complete message appears, click OK
   then close.

1. Go to where you have stored the BIOS update file an
   double-click it.
2. It will self extract and store itself on the floppy disk in th
   A: drive.
3. Once the extraction is finished, leave the boot disk in the A
   drive and restart your PC.
4. At the A: prompt, type biosupdt and pres
   Enter.
5. Once the installation is finished, remove the boot disk fro
   the A: drive and reboot your PC.
6. As the PC begins to boot, press F1 to ente
   Setup.
7. Once in Setup, press F5 to reset the BIO
   defaults, then press F10 to exit setup and sav
   your changes.
8. Press Enter [yes] to close this panel.
